About Me
Hi, I'm Ethan Schlemer...
I was born in Fort Collins, Colorado. Growing up here, you could find me roaming the foothills rock climbing and caving, or at the local roller skating rink performing tricks on my skates (still do).
In 2012, I was diagnosed with soft tissue cancer in my left leg. I had it reconstructed but it didn't work out (long story), so I had it amputated above the knee on 9/8/14.
Throughout the ordeal, I had personal trainers that had a profound impact upon me. They helped me feel more confident in my exercise programming so that I could attain lasting results, such as relearning to roller skate again!
Experiences like that motivated me to become a trainer and share with other people how fitness can empower them to embrace and overcome life's shortcomings.
We may not always be able to escape pain, but we can train to not let it control every aspect of our lives!
